They're out to get me...

You know what they say, "Just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!" Two spooky dreams last night that really stick in my memory:

1. Gordon and I have just returned to "the house (grandparents' house again) from somewhere, driving a pickup with no shell on the back (both of our trucks DO have shells). I'm resting on a satin-sheeted mattress in the back. It's night, and I'm very sleepy. Gordon goes to the front door and goes in. Suddenly a wild, dark-haired woman pops up over the edge of the truck bed brandishing a large knife! Before she can stab me I grab her wrist, but she's really strong and I'm not sure I have the leverage to overcome her. I call for Gordon, but I can't seem to call very loudly. Finally I manage to get out a loud scream, and Gordon comes out of the house...

2. Now I'm at Mom & Dad's place. It's evening and starting to get dark. A strange car pulls in to the driveway and a guy in WW2 battle dress gets out, carrying an M1 rifle. I have no idea who he is. I think he's been stalking me. No lights in the house are turned on, so I don't think he can see me. I fade into the interior hallway as he starts down the outside stairs to the back of the house.

In my bedroom I see him take up a position outside my window. He's not looking in, but off to the right. He's "at the ready", and as I type this now I remember him looking like a plastic soldier out of a "box of men" (his posture). Now it's early morning instead of late evening. I hear Mom get up (bedroom over mine). Suddenly the "soldier" is doused with water! Mom must have spotted him and is trying to shoo him away. He stalks off and I follow his progress from inside the house. When I get upstairs I can't tell if he's still around or not. Is his car still here? It could still be parked out of sight down the driveway, but I'm kind of scared to go out and look...
