Had a bunch of dreams night before last. In fact, I've been having tons of dreams every night for weeks, but haven't written any down.
In one of the last ones the other night Gordon and I were heading up some training day or other for military historians/re-enactors that involved some kind of field trip to some museum or similar facility. I had been speaking to the gal who was our liason for the day, and she said something about being glad I was so competent to handle the food for the day. Later, around 2:00 pm, I suggested we might think about breaking for lunch and said I'd go let the caterer know we were ready to eat. The liason gal looked startled and said she'd also ordered up a lunch! Gordon was really angry with me, even when I said I'd spoken to the gal earlier and she'd known I was handling the food thing. Gak.
The whole shindig turned into a giant re-enactment or film job, Rev. War, and Gordon wanted me to participate as one of his troopers. He didn't seem angry anymore. He gave me a rifles green uniform to wear, and I changed into it and headed for the set tying my neck cloth. I looked down at myself and was proud of how slim I looked.
Last night I ended on a similar note, with Gordon and myself at some living history museum where folks were showing up as 18th century "ranger" types. I was dressed as a woman with a nice set of jumps and petticoats. The reenactors looked really good, only there was a lot of mullet hair and eyeglasses going on, which was weird.

Thanks for stopping by! I highly recommend the Herman Riffel book (see sidebar), by the way. I look forward to reading more by him in future.
I like my dreams so much better than television, that I've almost given up the viewing of it in favor of sleep!
