Deep Sea Adventures & Edwardian Drama

1. On a cruise ship for a loooong time. Weeks. Some kind of adventure. Were we hijacked? An illness spread through the passengers. I think I was sick with it for a time, but Gordon took good care of me. We were coming to the end of the adventure. I remember a crane with a clamshell dredge, but it was cubical. The crane swung out over a deep fjord, and the bottom fell out of the dredge "box". I winced as it hit the water, and then the camera of my mind's eye followed it as is sank down, down into the amazingly deep water. It got darker and darker. Finally it landed on a shipwreck with a clang.

Cut to us watching this on a TV monitor. Now only a shot of deep water with streams of bubbles trailing up accross the screen. We were going to hardhat dive down to the wreck, where something strange was going on. People were living down there or something. It gets muddled.

2. Some friends are putting on a play with a "Halloween" kind of theme. My friend Julie is in it, playing one of two Victorian ladies. I watch from the wings as they move across the stage to a door, Julie saying (agitated) "I know they killed him! I saw it happen!"

Now I'm watching a "pirate" movie. On a crowded ship's deck some kind of kangaroo court. A man is falsely accused of something, while the true miscreant stands by. The captain pronounces something, but then an arrow/lance is shot from somewhere and impales both the innocent and guilty man. They fall down, one on top of the other. Now I am in the story. I run over to the fallen men, sure enough, they're dead. What's going on? Who shot these men? I'm going to get to the bottom of this. The captain volunteers one of his best men to help me. A very tall man (played by Adam Baldwin) steps out of the crowd and towers over me. I'm not sure I want his help...

I'm dressed in a 1900's travelling suit, complete w/ parasol. I'm walking through a market like Pike Place in Seattle. I go into a shop with windows overlooking the bay. It's full of hardware and remodelling supplies. At first I'm just there to buy something, but then I find out that the owner has died and the surviving family wants to sell the business. I offer to buy it, and a secretary draws up some paperwork. Adam Baldwin is there, working in the back. He tries to get my attention. He slips me a note: he has information about something. He wants to help me and I realize he's really on my side. He tries to hold my hand but I squeeze it and let go.

After some long negotiations in a kind of parlor, the business is transacted. I excuse myself to go and "put myself back together". For some reason I have removed my shoes, socks, and jacket! I go to a little bathroom but can't get the door to shut properly at first.

An open coach has arrived for me and soon I'm trotting briskly down a country lane. Adam B races up alongside on a horse. I'm so glad to see him, now we can continue this adventure together. I lean forward and ask the driver to pull over at the nearest convenient spot.
